On Monday 10th June 2019 we had a Railway Enforcement Officer visit the school to talk to the children about the importance of staying safe on the railways.
They learnt about some of the hazards, and what they should do to keep themselves safe.
· Not run near the railway lines
· Do not play near the lines
· Do not climb down onto the tracks
· No skateboarding near the tracks
They were told about the roles of some of the people they might see at the railway station who were there to help them if they had any problems. These might be not knowing which platform their train was departing from, what to do if their train was delayed or cancelled.
