Today, 22nd June 2017, members of Class 4 took part in a Community Cup Football  Competition at Lynnsport in King’s Lynn.

 

The event was for Year 5 and Year 6 children and used a 6-a-side format. They were 10 minute games with rolling substitutions.

 

Denver did well and were only beaten by Clenchwarton and Docking in their group. Unfortunately, Denver didn’t make it into the semi-final. They played four competitive matches and at the end of the day played a friendly with another school.

 

Freddie said, “It was a fantastic  day out” and John commented that, “When we won four nil it was great!”

 

This was fifth year that the event has been run and the whole team had a great time.
