About Us

Welcome

Welcome to Denver V C Primary School!

I am delighted to welcome you to our website. We hope that you will find it informative and give you an insight into our wonderful school. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any more information or would like to visit us.

At Denver VC Primary School, we seek to discover and celebrate whatever is good in each individual - Discover, Value, Celebrate and Praise. We value effort as well as achievement and aim to give our children a good academic education whilst also providing opportunities for them to excel in areas such as PE, Music and Drama.

Children, staff, parents and governors all play their part in making our school a safe place of learning, so we were pleased when our last Ofsted report (March 2023) confirmed that 'The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. Leaders have established effective systems to keep pupils safe. All staff take their responsibilities for the safeguarding of pupils seriously. Staff receive thorough training, so that they know what to do if they identify any concerns. Leaders work with external agencies to make sure that vulnerable pupils and families get the support that they need. Detailed records of leaders’ actions to manage concerns are well-kept'.

As a church school, we value our links with St Mary's Church and the support it provides.

We want your child/ren to enjoy their time at primary school and do our best to provide a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum across the school.

If you are interested in visiting our wonderful village school, please contact the school office. Whatever your reason for visiting, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome.
