Purple for Polio Day 2026
In October 2026, we were proud to take part in Purple for Polio Day, supporting Rotary's global campaign to eradicate polio.
Children and staff came to school wearing purple and helped raise funds through a non-uniform day. Together with three other local schools, an amazing £506.16 was raised. Thanks to support from the Gates Foundation, which matches donations at a rate of £2 for every £1 raised, this will become £1,518.48 towards the fight against polio.
This incredible amount will fund approximately 7,592 polio immunisations, helping to protect children around the world from this devastating disease.
We would like to thank all of our families for their generosity and support. By working together, we are helping Rotary move closer to its goal of a world free from polio.
Thank you for helping us make a difference! 💜
