Attendance

Schools must aim to have the highest attendance possible for all their pupils in order for them to achieve their maximum potential. An attendance below 90% is regarded as persistent absence. We need to work together to ensure that all children attend school regularly, unless they are too ill to do so, to ensure that their learning is not impacted.

Please remember that holidays during term time will not be authorised and may meet the criteria for a Fixed Penalty Notice.

To promote good attendance, in each newsletter we share the class attendance figures for the month and a class certificate is awarded.

Well done to Class  for having the highest attendance for September!

 

We also celebrate the class with the highest attendance each week in our Celebration Assembly. This class gets the attendance teddy for the following week.

 

Our overall school attendance so far this academic year is 97.2%.

 

Letters will be sent out each half-term to the parents/carers of any child with an attendance less than 90%.

 

Our overall school attendance for the academic year 2024-25 was 95.0%.
