Ely Cathedral 2017

Class 3 Ely Cathedral Trip 2017

The class had a great day out at Ely Cathedral. The theme was India and this involved the act of worship talking about places in India that had links to the church as well as a performance including a child from each visiting school. Eleanor played a disciple.
The class mixed with other children from other schools to try and solve the Autograph challenge. At lunchtime the children had a chance to admire and draw the famous Ely architecture. Joseph had the opportunity to play the cathedral piano. The main part of the morning was taken up with learning traditional Indian dance moves and even some Bollywood dancing.

Leo said, “The best bit was the singing!”

Joseph said, “I loved the windows, they were amazing.”

Edward commented that he really liked the octagon.
