Designing a Throne for Royalty

The children were given the task to design a throne for either Queen Elizabeth II, Henry VIII or one of his wives. They identified the purpose of their throne, explored different throne designs from the Tudor period and the modern period with each child designing their own throne. Once the designs were finished the children were put into five groups, one design was chosen per group and then the children set about creating the designs that were drawn. The final creations were thrones fit for any monarch.
