Class 4 WW2 Talk - June 2016

As part of our history topic on what it was like during WW1 and WW2 in the local area, we invited a Andy Moore, a local with an interest in WW2, to talk to the class about what it was like in Downham Market during WW2.

He kept the children fully engaged with his knowledge of RAF Downham Market. He also brought in some artefacts he has collected at the site, including a razor, bullet shells and even a wartime toothpaste tube.

Many thanks to Andy for giving up his time to help the children gain a better understanding of what wartime would have been like in the local area.
